OUR MISSION

Our mission at Safe Haven is to provide confidential Biblical counseling, hope, healing, and recovery to those suffering from the loss of a child through abortion; and provide resources and support for those who find themselves in unplanned pregnancies.

OUR APPROACH

We are a Christ-centered ministry, providing services to both, women and adolescent girls within our communities. We are a group of graduate-level counselors providing quality, non-clinical therapeutic care through various trauma coping strategies and specific bible studies. We also provide resources and support to meet the needs of our clients throughout the United States and its territories based on the funds and supplies donated.

Diane White, MA, BS, AAS

Executive Director

Post-Abortive Recovery Counselor

STS National Certified Leader

Crisis Counselor & Mentor

Diane White (MA, BS, AAS), is an alumna of Liberty University. She earned an MA in Human Services Counseling: Family Advocacy and Public Policy, a BS in Interdisciplinary Studies and an AAS in Administration of Justice. Diane has extensive experience in the mental and behavioral health field. Her professional background also includes youth mentorship and crisis counseling, along with clinical therapeutic services to adolescents and adults with various mental and behavioral health diagnoses.

Diane has spent years equipping and empowering hundreds of at-risk adolescent girls and women broken from various traumas, including abortion. Her own life's experienced traumas ultimately led her to Christ, where she found hope, healing, restoration and freedom. From the healing, restoration and freedom she received through Christ, she now devotes her time to serving God. In doing so, she has invested a great deal of her time in growing this ministry, and working alongside other ministries including: Surrendering the Secret (STS), Forgiven and Set Free, etc; helping women of all ages find hope, healing and recovery from past traumas, including those impacted by the loss of their child(ren) through abortion.

“Safe Haven helped me find peace, hope, healing and recovery from trauma I endured due to a past abortion. I was able to connect with other woman with similar experiences. Safe Haven services aligned with my needs and guided me through something I’ve struggled with for over 20 years. They ‘re helpful, resourceful, confidential, and flexible with their scheduling. Safe Haven helped me get to a place in life I never thought I’d be.”
